Become an Advocate Today
Our Oreteti Advocates support our mission to empower pastoralist communities through education. Each year, students need supplies, uniforms, and transportation from their villages to the schools. For $36 per month, you will support one student’s ability to attend school.
Advocacy+
You may choose to enhance your advocacy for our Maasai communities by covering supplemental necessities for students.
Transportation: Many students live long distances from the school. Without transportations, they are unable to attend school. For $8 per month, you will support the transportation necessary to being students to the school.
Sanitary Items: Due to gender bias and a lack of comprehensive healthcare, girls in pastoralist communities often have a shortage of sanitary items. For $10 per year, you will support the school’s ability to have feminine sanitary supplies available for its students.
Desks: There is a lack of education funding within Tanzania. This leads to school supplies and equipment being stretched amongst several students. Schools are in desperate need of desks, which helps facilitate student learning throughout the year. For $42, you will supply one desk to the school.

Individual Advocates: You may choose to donate additional funds beyond your Advocacy monthly contribution. Please contact us if you would like your donation to address a specific need for our students or school.
Organizational Advocates: This level of advocacy is perfect for organizations whose missions are aligned with the Oreteti Foundation. Each student must bring with them supplies, such as writing utensils and texts.

In order to attend school, all students must have specific uniforms.
